Our Mission Areas:
- Operational Planning & Mission Coordination — Plan, resource, and synchronize GSDF missions and training (SAR, debris/route clearance, NG augmentation, community support) and coordinate with GA DOD, GEMA, National Guard, and civil authorities.
- Force Readiness & Sustainment — Maintain personnel, equipment, communications, logistics, and fiscal readiness to ensure units are trained, equipped, and deployable for state emergencies and steady-state support.
- Interagency Integration & Command Support — Provide situational awareness, administration, communications, and liaison to enable effective command and control and seamless integration with state and local partners during DSCA operations.

Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), a Major Subordinate Command of the GSDF, conducts three primary missions:
- Retention and Recruiting operations for the Force
- Professional Military Education (PME) – the “schools” – of the Force:
a. Initial Entry Schools b. Officer PME c. Noncommissioned Officer PME d. Specialty Schools – Search and Rescue, Rappelling, and others e. The Medical Center Of Excellence (MCOE) – including First Aid/CPR, Emergency Medical Responder, and others
- Training and doctrinal guidance, including delivering trained Observer/Controller-Safety Officers for missions and training exercises

Headquarters: Ellenwood Readiness Center in Ellenwood, Georgia. We conduct and oversee schools and recruiting throughout the State.
