Georgia State Defense Force (GSDF) Lt. Col. David A. Reeder is promoted to Colonel, his wife Lynn administering the customary punch during the promotion ceremony, Ellenwood Readiness Center (EWRC), Ellenwood, Georgia, Aug. 2, 2025. The event was led by Brig. Gen. Dennis Watts, GSDF Commanding General and attended by senior leadership, including The Adjutant General of Georgia and The Adjutant General of Florida, highlighting regional collaboration and support across state lines.
The GSDF is a component of the Georgia Department of Defense, along with the Georgia Air National Guard and Georgia Army National Guard.
