Georgia State Defense Force (GSDF) Initial Entry Training (IET) Charlie 26 Class graduated during a ceremony at the Ellenwood Readiness Center in Ellenwood, Ga., June 7, 2026.
Class graduates Spc. Lydia Hughes earned the class leadership award, and Spc. Kelly Stine earned the class academic award.
IET prepares new GSDF Soldiers with the fundamental knowledge, skills and values necessary to begin service in support of the State of Georgia.
The GSDF is a component of the Georgia Department of Defense, along with the Georgia Air National Guard and Georgia Army National Guard.
